Dry Socket Tooth Ache
|
Had to have a wisdom tooth taken out, Dentist said at the time it did not bleed enough and would maybe not form the required blood clot so I may develop dry socket!!! And fuck me I have, this is tooth ache on steroids.
Not a lot you can do about it, just let it take its time to heal the exposed bone, about 10 days they reckon, got some pretty heavy duty meds but its still not getting rid of all the pain.
Any tips to ease the pain?

If you lack the dexterity and/or length to wipe your own knob on it, perhaps you could find someone kind enough to help out by offering to wipe their knob on it. The dentist maybe?

I had this a few years back, was horrendous! I got some clove oil from Boots which relieved the pain a bit and helped.

Your dentist sounds like a lazy git.
They can either cut the wound again to try and create another blood clot, or they could pack the cavity with that tobacco-like stuff to ease pain/reduce exposure.

I feel for you. I've only had tooth ache/pain once in my life, but it's completely miserable.
Try lube for your dry socket.
